OR LMT-30003 · They/Them

Gem is a white, trans-masc, intersex, queer, polyamorous, neurodivergent and disabled massage therapist who is passionate about working with marginalized communities. Community Care is the core value that has driven their passion for this work.

Gem’s philosophy, approach, and intention in their craft is “Body Care.” Body Care is a radical approach to holistic health that seeks to deconstruct the “luxury” scripts of the industry and promote the necessity of caring for our bodies in a society that devalues our bodies and disregards our nervous systems. Gem’s approach to Body Care is trauma-aware, culturally humble, client-centered, wellness-focused, affirming, and collaboratively personalized. They believe in the body’s innate ability to heal, regulate, and adapt, and that individual and collective strength becomes sustainable when self-care becomes non-negotiable.

Gem graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon in September of 2026. At EWC, they gained education and experience offering Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Deep-Tissue Massage, Trigger-Point Therapy, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Thai Massage, and Spa Therapies. Gem’s treatment focus is on deep rest and relaxation, chronic pain management, and mind-body integration.
