At Garden House Wellness, we believe massage therapy should be welcoming and supportive for people with a wide range of bodies, abilities, and needs. Our therapists are happy to adapt sessions whenever possible to help clients feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for.
Accessibility support may include extra time for mobility and positioning, adaptable bolstering and cushioning, adjustable pressure, clear communication about each step of the session, and flexibility in session pacing. Therapists can also modify techniques, positioning, or table setup to help accommodate different comfort levels and physical needs.
Our Licensed Massage Therapists are not able to physically assist clients on or off the massage table. Clients who require hands-on mobility assistance are welcome to bring a trusted support person or caregiver to help with transfers and positioning before and after the session.
If you have specific accessibility needs—such as mobility considerations, sensory sensitivities, chronic pain, or assistance with positioning—we encourage you to reach out before your appointment so we can discuss how to best support your visit.
Support may include:
Our goal is to create a space where every client can receive thoughtful, skilled care in a way that feels comfortable and accessible to them. If you have any questions, please reach out ahead of time to confirm and plan to make your massage experience what you need.
